Welcome to the new-look NGO Consortium On-Line Registration. The purpose of having registration on-line is to reach out to NGOs in Somalia who would like to be part of the ever-growing Consortium but haven't been able to up to now.
The NGO Consortium was established in Nairobi in 1999. The Consortium operates as a support and co-ordination body for NGOs (National and International) and all activities carried out are agreed by the membership. It is a Consortium run by the members for the members.
In order for us to maintain our credibility, we have to be strict on membership and ensure that everyone who becomes a member is doing what they say they are doing. Membership of the Somalia NGO Consortium requires that your agency is currently undertaking activities direct operations and/or support to partner ngos in Somalia.
We know it is not very convenient for agencies to have to resubmit documents every year but it is necessary as the personnel in NGOs change, information and contacts changes and the activities being undertaken change.
The documents that are required for submission should be scanned and signed first as these shall be required once you enter the registration page.

Organizational profile (Must contain the following details)
Details of all country programs for the past 1-2 years indicating:
Project Title
Brief description indicating
Start date

Sources of funds
Target Beneficiaries

Copy of a recent audit report (this must be from an independent auditor) detailing:
Budget
Expenditure
Auditor's comments/recommendations.

Note:Appoximate duration to complete the registration process is estimated at 20 minutes depending on the information being submited.
Note:Once you start entering your information onto the registration page you cannot save what you have done and return later to complete, so please once you start you must fully complete and then submit.
Note: The attachments that are required for submission should only be Word documents or PDF documents and the above document should all be ready before you click Agree below.
Note: Apart from the Audit Report the total capacity of all the files that you upload should be a maximum of (2Mb)and not greater, else the registration page shall not submit your information and give you a warning of Invalid file. Whereby you then have to restart the process of filling in the registration page again.
We would very much appreciate if everyone could fill in the registration page. However, it may not be possible for all agencies and we understand this. So, we have also attached a Registration page that can be filled manually and emailed to info@somaliangoconsortium.org for submission. (Download)
NB: All information submitted during registration will be held in confidence and can only be accessed by the NGO Consortium Secretariat. Once an application has been submitted it cannot be recalled but you can always call us and we will help you sort it out.
